Hypnosis

Hypnosis works EVEN when everything else has failed.

Feel like you’ve already tried everything? When you know WHAT you should be doing, but you can’t make yourself do it, that suggests something in your subconscious mind is getting in the way. Habits and behaviors that get in the way of a satisfying life can be changed with hypnosis. Painful emotions can be eliminated, giving you more energy and happiness.

  • Say GOODBYE to bad habits or unwanted behaviors even when you feel there’s no hope.

  • Feel confident - no longer need the approval of others

  • Improve personal relationships- even with very difficult people

  • Deal once and for all with anger issues

  • Stop procrastinating and get things done

  • Give great presentations and speak with confidence

  • Stop feeling lonely and begin to trust again

  • Manage chronic pain, like migraine headache pain

  • Stop smoking without gaining weight

  • Lose weight with out the struggle and get motivated to move more

The common denominator of all of these problems and behaviors is your subconscious mind.

You can tell me what you want to change, and I'll answer your questions about hypnosis. In 30 minutes, we'll both know whether hypnosis is right for you. I'm conveniently located in downtown Bellingham, in the Bellingham Towers building across the street from Mt Baker Theatre. During social distancing I do my consultations and hypnosis by Zoom, an online platform similar to Teledoc.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural state of focused concentration, often accompanied by a physical sensation of deep relaxation.

CAN ANYONE BE HYPNOTIZED?

Anyone of normal (or higher) intelligence who is able and willing to follow instructions can experience hypnosis and use it to change his or her life. This includes teenagers and children.

CAN I BE HYPNOTIZED AGAINST MY WILL?

Absolutely not. Hypnosis is a consensual state of mind. You follow the instructions of the Hypnotherapist and only by doing this do you remain in hypnosis. The Hypnotist/Hypnotherapist acts as a guide.

WILL I REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED?

Yes. You’ll be conscious and alert the entire time. Your conscious mind is always able to listen to every word the Hypnotist says.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Sessions generally last 90 minutes.  Many problems can be effectively addressed in 5 sessions. During your free 30 minute consultation, if I think your problem is something I can help with I will tell you how many sessions it will take and how much it will cost.

DOES HYPNOSIS REALLY WORK?

Yes. Hypnosis has helped millions of people change problem behaviors and improve their lives. Hypnotherapy has been recognized as a powerful, effective, and therapeutic technique by the American Medical Association (since 1958), by the British Medical Association, (since 1957), and by the American Psychological Society. Hypnosis can help you change habits, reduce the sensation of pain, get better sleep, increase motivation, and help you heal from past experiences. Even if you’ve tried other things to resolve your issue, hypnosis can still work because it works differently - it taps into the power of your subconscious mind where memories and emotions are stored.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO START SEEING CHANGES?

Most people report positive change beginning after the very first session. Like any kind of change therapy, the desire and effort put forth by the client is the most important and predictive aspect of positive results. The hypnotherapist guides the therapy process, suggesting changes to the subconscious mind. Clients makes changes by listening carefully and following instructions, and thereby using the power of their subconscious minds.
